In my right ear, I hear this little "Boop" sound every couple seconds. I thought it was a bug for a while but i don’t think a bug will make a little boop sound. I can feel it too. Its not a popping noise, it just feels like something is in there.

I have had tinnitus (like a roaring or hissing sound usually) for a couple of years or more. Normally is was on both side, with ocassional pain in the ears as well. Now on and off since my sinus infection and anti-boitics a couple months ago, it seems to be mostly in my right ear. There are some pains in that ear as well. I have gerd which I read can affect the ears, and the ent said I have a very "twisted" spetum on the right (the same side as the pain). You couldn’t tell from looking at me that I’m "twisted" in the nose …. Has anyone experienced any of this, or know if the other conditions I have can effect ear "pain" and increasing tinnitus on one side? I do have another appt. next week, but I wanted to know of others with similiar "ear expriences."

Hi im a male 23 yrs old and recently for the past 4 days or so my left ear has been ringing 24/7 the sound is like when u turn on the tv but no channels are on and u only hear this very low "eEeEeEe" sound… i’m afraid bc it’s driving me crazy listening to it all day and i read there is no cure the only thing is that i read it happens to old people and im still young. Could it be since i been listening to techno music lately while at the gym in Full volume with headphones on? any advice? The only doctor i can see if by going to the hospital but i wont be treated till after sitting there over 12 hrs and i don’t have time right now

Had a bout with tinnitus this year. Learned a whole lot about it, and about hearing / the ear in general.

Well, now with anything I do, I wear double ear protection; some foam like ear plugs, and the ear muffs for shooting, etc…

My tinnitus seems to fade, but is only re activated when after loud music, or a loud noise.

The power equipment I use is very loud "can’t believe I never thought so until now".
So I double up on ear protection, and as I put it on, I can barely or not even hear the tinnitus.

But after I’m through with the mower, power washer, leaf blower, whatever…I take off my ear plugs, and the tinnitus is very loud at first, but then calms down, but comes back instead of fades….

This has me worried, what should I do?

Why must people chew their food like uncivilized animals & then tell you to go take your crazy pills when you ask them to stop?

My brother came over ONCE AGAIN yesterday to go on those gay sites. He ordered pizza. Damn! He makes me SO mad. I wanted to choke & strangle him. I almost cried. He sucks AND smacks LOUD on his food. My ears are very sensitive. I have hyperacusis. I told him that, & he thinks he can just treat me any old kinda way. & he has NO respect for my house. I’m tired of him coming from WAY across town, just to torture me & make me suffer. Let me tell you a story.

This past Christmas eve, he brought my other brother & his girlfriend over. I fixed them hot cocoa & pork & beans & rice. He was smacking SO loud! I asked him to stop it & asked him why he needs to smack & suck so loud. He gave me this, "Heifer, I KNOW u ain’t talkin’ 2 me!" kinda look. But then, he bosses everyone around & tries to tell them what they should & shouldn’t do & how to live their lives. & he treats people like they’re too stupid to know left from right.

So my other brother & his girlfriend were sitting there in the corner laughing. & he started laughing, too, & he lied & said it was a funny dream he had the night before. He’s very notorious for lying about everything. Damn shame! He’s 34 yrs. old & still does immature things.

I was SO pissed I didn’t speak to them for like 3 mos. I was thinking about making them eat outside from then on, but then again, I felt like it would be wrong if I did that. But then again, they violated me in my own house.

He smacks & sucks so loud that it triggers off an anxiety attack & makes me have to go to the hospital. & 1 time, he MADE me sit in the front seat of his car, where my schizophrenic mom pissed @, JUST so he can torture me & smack LOUD, IN MY EAR! (Yes, schizo mom pisses all over the place) I bet if I tell him that he’s no longer allowed to eat in my house, he’ll never violate me again! My counselor & I are working on assertiveness skills. It’s very difficult for me to stand up for myself & say NO.
Don’t be rude & call me crazy!
I’m not ranting. I’m asking for advice on how to deal with this. Simply saying JUST DON’T LET HIM OVER, is not sufficient in my case. & I don’t appreciate y’all telling me I need to be psychologically evaluated, & defending him disrespecting me in my own house.
& I have no reason to tell a white lie.
