End Your Tinnitus

Chronic Tinnitus Sufferer Finds A Natural, Scientifically Proven Way To Cure Tinnitus Without Coping Mechanisms or Background Noise. Incredibly Easy Steps You Could Already Be Taking To Eliminate Tinnitus and Keep It Away Forever  Read more!

I have an untreated pfo, history of ministroke, but I’m confident I’ll get that fixed as I am only 24 and in otherwise good shape. However, I am really curious as to why I hear squeaking noises coming from my throat after my (exercise) heartbeat?

I am aware it could be p.tinnitus, but in that case it isn’t logical that another person could hear the sound. I believe it is coming from my vocal chords, because my girlfriend heard it after sex. It is a high pitched whistle after each heartbeat. How could an increase in blood pressure cause air to be pushed from my lungs with enough force to make a whistling sound, and is this something that I should be worried about?

Any educated answer will help me direct my questions to my cardiologist, I am by no means looking for a cure…thanks in advance.

I’m a college student and have been under a lot of stress lately due to finals and because I only have 1 more class before I graduate. My tinnitus started a couple days ago after I finished a very stressful class and has been persistent ever sense. I’m never exposed to loud noises or loud music, just lots of stress. What’s odd about the ringing is it will change pitch every few seconds from a moderate ring to a more intense moderate ring to a high pitched loud ring and then back down again; this repeats over and over. I was thinking it might be allergies but Claritin doesn’t seem to help. I’m planning on calling my doctor on Monday to get it checked out because I’ve had sinus infections in the past so I’m hoping it’s treatable. I also suffer from anxiety but I’m not on any meds at the moment.
Blood pressure is normal

i have been experiencing tinnitus for past ten years.. my blood pressure is 100/70 always.. ginkgo extracts for curing tinnitus did not help.. are my low bp and tinnitus connected?

4-5 months ago I shot a .270 rifle for the first time, one time, and stupid me didnt have ear plugs.

About a month ago I became aware of a slight ringing in my right ear, same side as rifle.

I went to the ENT ASAP, as I was sure hearing damage had occurred. (the tiny hairs inside ear)

Anyways, the ENT checked everything and said no damage had occurred and my hearing, hairs n the air, blood pressure, fluid, wax was all normal. He doesn’t know what’s causing it, but based on the history I gave him, he said the gunshot "could" have done it.

However, i talked with the guy who owns the gun, and he was shooting off all day, and shoots w/o ear protection a lot, and said he looses his hearing shortly afterwards, "threshold shift" but never has ringing.

Do you think that rifle caused the tinnitus?
Aside from that is it possible for tinnitus to go away from something like this?
The ENT doesn’t know the exact cause, as it’s hard to pinpoint it on the gunshot, because my hearing is normal….

If i had any slight dip or the test showed some of the hairs were damaged, then it would be easy to find the cause, as it would be noise induced tinnitus…..

but theres no noise induced hearing loss?

I don’t know what’s going on

Hello,
I am having a really tough time coping with this high pitch frequency in my right ear. Became aware of it about a month ago, and after a club a bout a month ago, I really began to notice it, but only in the right Ear. The tone always fluctuates from high to mid high, like it wants to go out or something.

I’ve had ringing in the ears last for a couple mins to a couple hours before, but never have had it stick around for longer than a couple weeks. I’ve noticed this ringing has sticked around, and I can’t tell if it really is going away or diminishing, but I’m hoping it goes away soon, but do you think it will? Here’s some info.

I’ve narrowed down some possible causes: I’m upset at myself for many of them and don’t know how to forgive myself, but have learned the hard way
-Fired a gun without ear protection 6 months ago, ear rang, but then stopped. but this could have been the beginning
-Bumped my head into some hard sand 6 months ago, so tough my jaw shut, i was a little shook up by it, and had a lump but seemed to have recovered after 4 days; this was probably close to a mild concussion, but i really don’t think it was
-the concert i went to last month had some loud music
-right before the the tinnitus became apparent, i had started to sleep with long earplugs, but woke up every night to take them out because they hurt my ears bad , and noticed my ears hurt a bit the following morning, especially the right ear….

I think a combination of all those is causing the ringing; but mainly he gunshot because the tinnitus is in my right ear…but then i wonder if sleeping with the earplugs had something to do with it….

However, went to ENT, and he did tests. Hearing is Good,
he tested the tiny hairs inside the ear for damage, and all of those were good, and he checked for fluid, pressure all that was good.
Blood pressure is normal, i have slight TMJ, but it has never caused tinnitus.

I’m really worried, and I’m baffled because the ENT said everything was OK , no wax, he checked it all, and he said we could do an MRI, but said since all the tests were good that it probably wouldn’t be necessary. He said i would have to live with it, or take a drug that looks like it would cause more harm than good….i asked him if it would go away, and he said he doesnt know.

It’s been around for a month and thinking about it being around forever is scary, does anyone here think it will just go away as my body heals itself?
Has anyone ever had it for a couple months then had it just go away? Will this issue resolve itself somehow? I just dont know what to do about it and i dont know when it will go away, i’m hoping it will soon because it was never really around before, and aside from a few blunders, i’ve always valued my ears and tried to protect them….
