Noise in my ear when I chew?
I’ve always had problems with my jaw, like it locking when I sleep and having to massage it to get it to unlock when I wake up but just recently I’ve noticed a noise in my ear when I chew. It sounds water in my ear but I haven’t been swimming in at least 3 months and if I try to get water out, nothing happens. Any advice would be nice, thanks.

This could be caused by TMJ which is when your jaw is not properly functioning when repeatedly move it. It causes it to tense up, get locked and make a popping sound in your ear when you chew. TMJ cannot be treated and is permanant. I also have TMJ and whenever i chew i hear popping in my right ear. I believe this is genetic as my mom also has it but i am honestly not 100% positive.
My guess is since you’ve had previous problems with your ear it could be internal bleeding? Although I’m not sure if you’d actually hear that.
Whenever that happens to me, it usually means there’s some water trapped in some really deep earwax. That could’ve happened in the shower since you haven’t been swimming.
Instead of asking on Yahoo answers, you could go to this site: http://symptoms.webmd.com/.
Its a good symptom checker. or you could google it. The BEST solution to all this is simply to go to a doctor!
