I have the ability to create ringing in my ears, do you?
As far back as i can remember, i have had the ability to flex some muscle in my inner ear that vibrates im guessing my ear drum to make it sound like a continuous ringing sound is being generated for a period of up to 30 seconds. If i flex that same(possibly different?) muscle in my ear it creates like a popping sound that you might feel if your ears were to pop from altitude pressure release.
I used to also use this to protect my ears if i knew a loud sound was going to occur like an explosion.
This sound appears that only i am able to hear it/feel it – and no one else can. This is not the result of a disability, my hearing is perfect and i am young and healthy. Additionally, produce it – i control it and create it, it does not happen on I its own.
What is this and is there anyone else out there that can do this too?

Interesting… I can’t do it, but I can make my vision go blurry, why are we equipped to do such things?
that is so cool! too bad you’re the only one who can hear it. i can’t do that and i’ve never heard of anyone being able to do it
just googled it, i also have this and can make my vision blurry, its funny idk anyone who can do either
i can do that to and i can make my vision blurry.
OMG! i can do that too!! xO i wonder if theres some fancy name for this? My mum can also ‘muffle’ noise with her ears, but my dad can’t! maby i inherited it from her! seems there are people who can and people who can’t! like rolling ur tongue!!
Good to hear that I\’m not the only one who has this ability. As a child I thought people could hear the noise I produced with my inner ear.
the EXACT same thing happens with me!
i thought i was the only one. thank god.
