I don't want to give daughter back after visitation until order of protection court hearing?
I have order of protection on the mother and she has one on me. I’m planning on not giving my daughter back to her. I know police officers can’t enforce family court order so I’m good as far as that’s concerned. What’s the worst they can do if we don’t give her back?

You can be charged with contempt or worse…You can always appoint another responsible adult to return your child to her mother and I’m sure you know that. What you’re doing is willfully, out and out kidnapping your daughter. You say the police won’t/can’t interfere but they can if they want to! This is not some missed visitation or something like that…It’s kidnapping of a child from her custodial parent and they will probably pay a little bit more attention to that than you think they will. What exactly are you going to tell the child is the reason why she can no longer see her MOTHER? Do you think if you have her the court will just say, "oh, well, he’s got her, I guess we’ll just ignore it…" I don’t think so. It’s also not going to look too good for you at the hearing. I suggest you play nice and play smart. You’re thinking with your emotions and not your head. If you want custody of your daughter, do it legally, file for it. Don’t kidnap her….
