Can You Have TMJ and Ear Tinnitus Together?
I’ve been having an earache and ringing in my ears for a few months now. Dr gave me antibiotics and said take mucinex but it hasn’t helped.
Has anyone had this kind of problem long term? I’m wondering if it’s stress related?

Tinnitus often is a symptom of TMJ, and antibiotics won’t help if that is the cause.

Remember there are many other things that cause ringing in the ear. This could include taking aspirin, exposure to loud noise etc.
But yes, tinnitus and TMJ often go hand in hand.
