Mine started when my granddaddy would let me shoot his old beater .22LR. I probably went through 6 22 bulk packs in that gun alone. I still have that 22, but the extractor on it is broke so it sits in the corner now.

Then I started shooting my uncle’s AR-15 and a AKM clone he had(probably still has.) Every weekend I would go to his house and shoot at least 30-40 rounds.

This was during the AWB days, but he had a ton of pre ban mags. His guns were mostly pre ban too.

I’ve loved shooting ever since. Bad thing is, I have occasional mild tinnitus and hyperacusis too remind me of those days…..(weird thing is, the tinnitus is worse in my good ear than the slightly worse one??)

For two months now my daughter has TMJ. She is very tense and grinds her teeth’s. She is mostly tense because of taking finals to graduate from college. She is seeing an orthodontist for her condition. When I was younger I had the same situation with being very tense and grinding my teeth but did not have TMJ. I read in this post that TMJ can also cause hearing loss and tinnitus which are two conditions I had for the last 20 years. Does anyone know if these conditions are related to TMJ and what to do to overcome it?. Thanks.

I have tinnitus for about 3 months now. Sometimes the tinnitus also spikes, but then it is back to normal again. I also have a crackling noise in my ears during swallowing…..my tinnitus started when i had an ear infection. So will it ever go away.

Ive had tinnitus for about 5 years, ive go e months not noticing the sounds but then i remember i have them?

It happened this morning at breakfast, I noticed it. I would like to know how can I cure this? I have tinnitus if that helps?

I really hope this is a temporary thing.

Thank you.
