Just the other day I was lying in bed when I noticed a ringing noise in my ears. It was high pitched and at first I thought it was crickets outside but shortly realised (after blocking my ears) that it was internal. It’s pretty quiet and yes, I do listen to music through the use of headphones but I always listen to it VERY quietly – since I’ve noticed it I’ve only listened to my music out loud at a low level. The thing that disturbs me most (besides the fact that my mind is constantly thinking about it and it never stops ringing) is that I’m not sure if I’ve had it all along and simply haven’t noticed it. I’m getting really paranoid that it could last forever and it’s even disrupted my sleeping because I’m so worried – is there any chance that it could go away? Has anyone else suffered from symptoms like mine and it’s last a few days and then stopped?

I am looking to get hearing and eye protection just for the shooting range, but am not sure about the NNR/dB I need to get, most that I’ve seen say "Noise reduction rating of 29 dB" Is that good? Or not?

I currently am having ringing in the ears and it is causing much mental pain & stress for me. The reason I am asking this question is cause, I wasn’t hardly eating at all, and when I finally did eat, I only consumed a small bowl of noodles, along with vegetables and sometimes a fruit. Is it true that having a poor diet, not gaining enough weight to become healthy, can result in a person having Tinnitus.
This may not be the reason I have Tinnitus. But I was just wondering, could it? Could my small consumption and poor diet be the reason for my Tinnitus?
