I got sick about 2 weeks ago and I am feeling a lot better but I am now having problems hearing. I have an appointment to see a doctor but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what could be happening to me. When I wake up in the morning my hearing is really bad but as the day goes on it gets better but as soon as I go to sleep and wake up my hearing is the same (bad). Can someone please help me?
My friend just got sick & she is nausea and dizzy and her ears are ringing. She is sweating & cold. It came on very suddenly what do I do ?!
Noticed slight tinnitus in my right ear about 4 months ago. Went to an ENT to check it out, and everything checked out fine. He didn’t recommend an MRI or Cat because all the tests showed normal.
He however didn’t do any high frequency testing, just did the normal frequency testing. He said there’s nothing I can do about the tinnitus.
Should I go have a second opinion from an audiologist versus the ENT? The only difference is the person, and that the audiologist will test for higher frequency hearing loss. But overall, if she states I have tinnitus, then what really can be done?
Is the cost worth the extra opinion?
Is it normal for an ear with a lot of wax to be sensitive to loud noise and feel as if something is moving? Can ears pop a little from too much wax?
also, how do you know if you punctured your eardrum cleaning your ear with a q-tip? how far do you have to go in?
