I have tinnitus and im freaking out??!!! Im only 12 and its gotten worse, i suspect its from listening to music….which i really regret…. please tell me how to cure it naturally and free?
Excuse me Fred, By ear buds do you mean cotton buds that people put in their ears to get wax out or are you talking about my headphones?

I’m 13, and I have this ringing in both my ears, When it gets really silent, I can hear it, But if theres a tiny noise, It goes away, But since I just learned what it is, I worry about it so much that It doesnt go away..
I think I had this when I was 5+ because I would always ask what is that ringing noise, but from I thought it was just a random noise, Now I know what it is, And im freaked out, I want to know why it wont go away, and how I got it..
I drink soda, I take Afrin Nose spray, if that helps any..

But since I found out what it is, It is (Or I think.. Im a hypocondriac) i hear a TINY TINY noise in my ear even when playing music.. Is that just me or did it get worst over night?

My dad when he was 16 months old had spinal meningitis which has lead him to serious nerve damage and he got wholes through his ears.
he also got tinnitus on top pf that. he has a special case which has caused him not able to hear very well at all, people have to repeat several times what they have said, he has high buzzing sounds non-stop and only gets about 3 hours a night of sleep.
he has had thoughts of death because it drives him nuts the doctor’s could not come up with a cure for such a case.
please i need my dad in my life…does anyone have a cure or something that might let him take me to a movie or allow him to work and lead a halfway normal life.
I really need some help if any one has ANY ANY suggestions at all please all is appericiated.

When I press my thumbs over my ears I can hear ringing in my right ear, and when I press/cover my thumb over the right ear and press the ringing get’s higher pitched?

I have stress, slight case of TMJ, and shot a loud rifle 6 months ago, and the tinnitus showed up about 2 months ago.

Went to the ENT, and everything including hearing is OK and fine.

Why tinnitus then? and why does it get higher pitched when i cover my ear and press?

Will the tinnitus go away or diminish over time? Or will my brain adjust to it so it’s not noticeable?
ENT said the hairs in my ear show no damage? and no hearing loss….im baffled

I don’t mean theoretically. I’d like to know if this is a known side effect, or if someone else has had it.
