i went out and bought some Otex (i think only availible in The UK) because i havean ear blockage. the doctor has told me that its a build up of ear wax due to a cold i had my question is why does it say on the packet that if i suffering from tinnitus ( ringing noises in my ear) i should not use it?

Can fluid in the ear, if left untreated for awhile, cause tinnitus? What are some at home things one can do to help the fluid drain properly? My ear has had some fluid in it for a month or so, and just recently got plugged up again. I can not afford a doctor at this time.
When someone says "Your ears are burning", does that mean someone is talking about you? More importantly, does this mean someone is talking badly about you?
