I usually hear it when waking up, if I have the hiccups, after running, or after sneezing, then it goes away after 10 minutes. The sound never follows every heartbeat, it usually just comes a half a second after. It’ll thump 3-5 times in a row, then stop for 10 seconds, then thump again 3-5 times in a row, and it continues for 10 minutes and stops. Also, it’s never painful in any way, just annoying. Is it pulsatile tinnitus?

I’m 14 years old and a male if that matters.

City life is too noisy.. and many people don’t have ear problems.. Others do, but i doubt many have what i have. I have hyperacusis and it’s so bad , many sounds hurt me even if not loud. But nobodies going to care..people are still going to listen to their dumb loud car stereos, put music so loud that my home windows vibrate for hours, work places will keep having fax machines beeping, and others will have loud machineery and hammering and not provide ear protection at all cause they don’t even think it hurts anyone…etc etc. What to do?

i occasionally get tinnitus…or ringing in the ears…and i don’t know why

why?what does this mean? am i going deaf? what should i do?

OK, so two days ago in school, one of my friends went behind me and slapped me in both ears in the same time. At first, I lost lots of hearing but then it came back. Then, ever since then I have had ringing noises in my ear.

Here are my symptoms:
No pain
No bleeding in the ear
Every time I yawn, I feel like my ear is being unpopped slightly (kind of like the feeling u get when you get off an airplane)
CONSTANT ringing noise!
Scared out of my shorts@!

I am REALLLLYYY worried that this could be permanent tinnitus! Can someone tell me whether this is a perforated eardrum or permanent tinnitus!!!

So when i’m walking or moving my head I head this popping sound (like when you put your hand over your ear then take it away quickly), like water in my ear. I have tried to get it out my using hot water and q-tips, but I think its behind my ear drum. Its driving me crazy. My hearing is fine and I haven’t been sick at all. Any suggestions?
