Hi guys I’m hoping someone may be able to help me. I am an 18 year old female & for the past 2 months or so I have been very light headed. It’s not vertigo but it feels as though I could pass out. Along with this,I feel tired all the time sometimes I feel like I’m in a dream and I’m always with brain fog where I just don’t feel right. I seem to not be able to concentrate as well as I used to. I also have pulsatile tinnitus(doctors don’t seem to worry about it too much) I’ve had MRI’s of my brain also MRA because I thought I wasn’t getting enough blood flow to my head, I’ve had CT scans, Carotid Ultrasound, and blood tests.
What could possibly be wrong with me? I went to a neurologist, cardiologist, and an ENT. They all think it might be anxiety.
Right now I am going to another ENT who THINKS it might be BBPV…it’s just a suggestion, he doesn’t sound too sure though. He says not to worry about the pulsatile tinnitus…but the thing is that 2 days after first getting the pulsatile tinnitus I started getting the dizzy spells.
Could this all just be anxiety????
But could the anxiety cause 24/7 ANXIETY?
I meant 24/7 LIGHTHEADEDNESS*****
sorry about the typo.
I have hyperacusis and I think it’s getting worse. It’s getting really hard for me to concentrate in school and ear plugs make it worse. Does anyone know of anything that will help?
I have mild tinnitus. I have noticed that I can hear it when watching tv, at work, in the car, and doing most things. It is just like a background noise. Is it because I am just so focused on it. When I am in a quiet room it is louder but not very. I do suffer from chronic anxiety and am aware this can aggravate the condition. I was also wondering if anxiety and stress can cause it. I have done some googling and have heard that it can and cant and cant
For about the last 6 years I have noticed, short bouts of "ringing" in my ears (sounds like hearing through a muffled speaker and that odd high pitched static you sometimes get from tv’s),it happens occasionally and doesn’t seem to have a trigger,it usually only lasts a couple of hours in one ear. (sometimes swapping to the opposite side before it vanishes *Tinnitus?*)
Recently I havn’t noticed it at all,but more alarmingly I keep getting bouts of "deafness" where for a few seconds to a few minutes I can’t hear anything at all, this will happen without warning and again seemingly without a trigger.
I’ve had my ears checked, they’re clear and my hearing range was normal when tested. So does anyone know what this might be?
(When I was young I was prone to ear infections and suffered with them a lot,is it possible they are the cause?)
