I have mild narcolepsy. I don’t take any medications. I don’t even take vitamins or herbal stuff. I have tinnitus. I am 30 years with no hearing loss. On contrary, I have perfect hearing and am healthy I had a hearing test and an MRI. Both results were perfect. My ear, nose, and throat specialist stated that the reason for my tinnitus is unknown. Is it possible that my tinnitus (buzzing in my ears) is caused by narcolepsy?

Thank you for your answers.

I’m a 15 year old girl. And for the past week or so; I’ve been dealing with constant dizziness, headaches, ringing in my ears, and at times my vision is somewhat blurred; and it also feels as though the room is spinning and I feel weak. I’m not sick with a cold, fever, or anything like that. And it’s sort of scaring me, because I don’t know what’s wrong. HELP??? :]

My right ear is getting really bad tinnitus. I admit I don’t do much exercise and my diet is relatively poor, but can having a computer about 1 and a half feet away from your ears help that tinnitus get worse? The computer isn’t Loud loud, but it isn’t quiet either. I’ve been obsessed with quiet computers ever since my tinnitus showed up (I frequent http://www.quietpc.com a lot). And in my right ear which corresponds with where my computer had been up until a year ago when I decided to locate the computer down and away from my ears. I can barely hear it now, but I’m wondering about the lifelong causes on hearing that a constant low humming noise can have. I’ve always had computers to the right of me because I’m right handed and I can access that side of a tower computer more easily.

I have had tinnitus for at least 6-12 months, I have not been to a Dr.
I have a constant, high pitched noise in my left ear.
Is there anything that can be done about this?
I am looking for a realistic assesment, not just someone to tell me "go to a Dr."
I know I need to see a Dr., but is there any real treatment for this condition, or is it hopeless?
